Between its upbeat, unpretentious personality and its refined and elegant vibe, Balagan - literal tranlation of “joyful mess” is a great destination for any type of celebration. Sparklers, shots, and smiles are a dime a dozen at this Parisian hotspot. The décor is light and airy with stone floors and touches of wood and cerulean blue to evoke the Mediterranean sea. The music is electric and the food is spectacular - need we say more? Think Bilboquet vibes but with Parisian and Mediterranean flair.

There’s so much history tucked in to this tiny and historic bar at the Ritz Paris at Place Vendôme. Walls filled with memorabilia of newspaper clippings, shark jaws, and business cards of a-listers. The bartender, Mr. Field is known for being an expert in his field, and has been referred to as “the LeBron James of liquor, the Matisse of martinis, the Yves Saint Laurent of gimlets.” This is a bucket list destination for anyone and everyone, best friends, a first date, or a solo traveler.
