The premier destination in the US for world-renown wineries, top-tier dining and luxury hotels and spas is adding two major players later this Fall 2020 – The Four Seasons Resort & Residence, Napa Valley and Montage Healdsburg in Sonoma County.  The region is regarded by many as the food and beverage capital of California and with the addition of these two properties, there will now be no luxury experience missed this winter. 

Four Seasons Resort & Residence, Napa Valley 

Embedded within Napa Valley’s northern, historic town of Calistoga, the new resort will sit within hundreds of acres of wineries with views of picturesque forests and mountains. The resort is sure to be a hot spot for intimate, outdoor weddings or domestic honeymoons next year, touting a location that is simply romantic at any turn.

Celebrating the hospitality that the region is known for, the resort will feature (2) on-property restaurants as well as a wine-tasting room (of course!). TRUSS will offer fine dining on their terrace with elevated views of the vineyard and Palisades Mountains or the option for an interactive dinner experience at one of the two chef’s tables inside the kitchen. On the other hand, Campo Poolside will provide a more casual option for alfresco dining, located between the family and adult pools. This Cali-Mexican menu will offer all of your favorites while you sip vino in the sun!

Perhaps most importantly to any successful weekend in Napa, we have to talk about Spa Talisa. The spa will offer classic treatments, such as massages and facials, but guests can also opt for the special Calistoga Mud Experiences that are inspired by the areas over 150+ years as a spa destination and utilizing ingredients start from the lush nature that surrounds the building. 

Montage Healdsburg, Sonoma 

Bringing the Montage’s 5-Star name to the Sonoma region is going to fill a void for luxury travelers looking to stay a bit outside of Napa Valley or for repeat guests to experience something completely new. Located on over 250 rolling acres of vineyards and lush foliage, this new Montage resort creates a peaceful sanctuary for you to unwind, sip and savor your surroundings. One third of each of the 130 bungalow-style guestrooms and suites is dedicated to outdoor space on your own private deck or patio. For a group of friends or 3-couples traveling together, the property will also feature The Guest House, which is a three-bedroom 4500sqft home overlooking the Alexander Valley and Mt. St. Helena.

 

Elevated 20ft above the vineyards is the new state-of-the-art Spa Montage Healdsburg, which is boast a 11,500sqft spa and on the ground floor a zero-edge outdoor pool. In the summer, the hotel will open Hudson Springs Bar & and Grill, a seasonal option for food and beverages poolside. The spa also includes fitness and yoga classes as well as special signature couples treatments for those on a romantic getaway.

Keeping with the trend of notable F&B outlets at luxury properties in the area, there will be three onsite dining options, including the seasonal poolside grill. Their signature restaurant will be Hazel Hill, featuring a fusion of Californian cuisine with a touch of French fine dining with an emphasis on the locally sourced ingredients and seasonal flavors. This signature restaurant has an interactive chef’s kitchen, event room and an alfresco dining patio. Lastly, the centerpiece of the lobby will be Scout Field Bar, which will be the place for a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap or really for an anytime cocktail! 

The Montage Healdsburg has also partnered with Cadillac to allow guests complimentary local rides in chauffeured luxury Cadillac vehicles.
